Opening Times
Groove Tunnel is open 7 days a week most days of the year other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and the 2nd January. Hours of opening are often by arrangement with bands but do please ask if you have any rather strange or special requests!
Rehearsals
Monday – Friday £7 per hour up until 5pm, the Modus room and rooms 2 & 3 are £11 per hour after 5pm until 12am. Room 1 is £9 per hour between 5pm and 1am.
Saturday/Sunday The Modus room and rooms 2 & 3 are £12 per hour all day until 12am. Room 1 is £9 per hour all day until 1am.
At the weekend we also give you a 3rd hour free. So book 3 hours and only pay for 2!
During weekday evenings, most bands come in between 7 & 9 and 9 and 11. Bands wanting more time to rehearse usually come 5 or 6 till 9 or 8 till 11 or 12. We cannot take bookings for 7 or 8 till 10 as this prevents other bands coming in at 9.
Recording
As the weekends are entirely booked up for recording months in advance, recording (tracking) is generally only available Monday to Friday from as early as you’d like in the morning until evening. Editing, Mixing and Mastering can take place whenever you like between a regular Monday to Friday, Prices are as follows:
Recording:
£25 per hour during the week up until 6pm
£35 per hour at weekends & weekday evenings after 6pm
Editing, Mixing & Mastering:
£15 per hour during the week (anytime)
£25 per hour at weekends (anytime)
